The textures of your descriptions are delicious! I just saw the northern lights for the first time last night, sort of, through the lens of my iPhone, in northern New Hampshire. For a moment, the pillar were barely the visible to the naked eye. But they registered as a bright red glow on the horizon when viewed through a three-second exposure. I never caught the aurora when I was in Alaska last year, so I guess I’ll have to go back for the full show! Thank you for taking me there. ❤️
These answers were wonderful the first time I read them with the whole interview, and they are equally enchanting this time. The pictures you paint are amazing, Holly :)
Wow, the way you described the Northern Lights gave me chills! I've been lucky enough to see them once, and it was just as magical as you portrayed. Your words perfectly captured that sense of awe and wonder.
It was so great having you on Speedy Boarding Holly!
What a blast it was. Thank you, Tom.
"this land of fat marmots and silver foxes and galumphing moose, of breaching whales and trumpeting sea lions, of roads like watercolour and fields of soft tundra like hiking across a patchwork quilt of lime, scarlet, and saffron, of massive ice fields like trekking an alien planet." Holly, you're Alaska's John of Gaunt! (https://www.prosepoetry.uk/poetry/poets/william-shakespeare/this-england-by-william-shakespeare-and-the-sting-in-its-tail/) Beautiful writing!
Wow!!! Jeffrey, that’s high praise. Thank you. 😍
