Thanks, Jenna! I feel lucky to have already met you IRL! I plan to keep hosting monthly gatherings, so if it sounds fun to you, would love to have you for another one. :)
Sounds lovely. I’m a bit of a reclusive writer. I can’t have any sound, noise, on rare occasions will I allow hubby in the room. I once tried to write at a coffee house. Disaster. Enjoy enjoy!
Yes, I can see how a coffee house would be no bueno if sound throws off your writing game.
I'm the opposite. Well, that's not true. For certain stages of writing, I like some solitary silence. But for others, especially starting something new, I feel like I can use the energy around me--the cafe, the train, the park, or others also engaged in creating.
Thanks, CK! So glad to have already met you IRL. Happy writing.
A lovely little story, Holly. I particularly like the reference “the old crow”.
Unfortunately, I have a Christmas party on tomorrow so I won’t be able to attend your Zoom meet up, but I do like the idea you’ve got going and so hopefully I’ll be able to make it to another one soon :)
Well then, you're off the hook. I'm going to talk for just a minute about your essay on the universe (and specifically panpsychism), as it relates to the prompt. If you were there, I might have asked you to talk about it (only if you wanted to of course ;)-).
Hope the Christmas party is lovely! And I plan to keep the zooms going monthly, third Saturdays. You're always, of course, on the invite list.
Aww that’s so lovely, Holly. What a compliment, I’m honoured that you thought to talk about a part from my essay as your prompt. I wish I could have made it! Although maybe it’s lucky I didn’t as I probably would have talked about it for far too long haha.
Oh hey there. I must confess. Keeping up on my emails is not a fav activity. But I do get there, and I do respond--usually not same day though. 🤣 So much to keep up with. I’ll look for it and get back to you.
Sad I missed it, I am stuck in an airport in South Africa, the plane broke down!
Eeek! Glad it broke down before you were flying in it.
Thanks for saying. It was small but lovely. I'll do it again in a month.
Hope your travel plans get back on track and you get where you need to be safely.
I'm sorry I'll have to miss the Zoom tomorrow :( I hope you and everyone lucky enough to attend have a productive 75 minutes!

Sounds good hopefully, I can make the next one.
